other group oriented activities. Your website maintains a sign up sheet for your activity. All the members
of your group's website can view this sign up sheet to see the schedule of play for several weeks into the future.

One of the administrators normally keeps an eye on the status of the website and interfaces with members when necessary. A Little History - This Sign Up Sheet website has evolved from one created a couple of years ago for a tennis group that has about 25 members. Before that they were using a list that was kept up to date by a member of the group. That entailed polling the members to see when they wanted to play and making calls as necessary. Since they play three times a week, that required quite an effort. The website has removed almost all of that effort. It is based on a "first come, first served" method of operation and its status is visible to all the members all the time. It has become a much bigger success than any had hoped for and the group would never return to the days of the paper list. A website is available for your group on a subscription basis.
